In this study, we asked experts in the fields of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and schooling to describe the transformative potential of GenAI and also to share how they, as early adopters, are using GenAI tools now to change learning within their schooling systems. We amalgamated their responses into two sections within this chapter.

In the first section, we present data from the interviews that support the breadth of expertise on artificial intelligence (AI) and GenAI across our schooling systems and draw on some illustrations of best practice.

In the second section, we offer four vignettes from schooling systems as examples of how different schools are implementing GenAI with their leadership teams, teachers, and/or student cohorts to transform the schooling and learning experience.
