Chapter 15: Summary of the Findings from the Research

This chapter presents a summary of the findings from the data presented and analysed in Chapters 8–13 and the evaluation data from the series of workshops described in Chapter 14. The Academic Integrity Rating System instrument collected primarily quantitative data and this was supplemented by qualitative data collected with the third part of the instrument. The findings are presented by themes based on the 10 subscales on the instrument. Some subscales were grouped together for discussion in this section. General observations related to the research are also presented. Seventy-two institutions met the criteria for participation and 31 responded, representing a response rate of 43%. Data collection lasted from May 2023 to March 2024. Following are the major findings from the research.
