3.: Time

This chapter explains the process for submitting and accepting programmes and the consequences if the Contractor or the Project Manager fail to follow the process. It sets out what should be included in a programme submitted for acceptance by the Contractor. It explains the difference between the Completion Date and planned Completion, the difference between Completion and take over and the different types of float. It also explains how the Completion Date is changed under the contract, the acceleration process and what happens if the Project Manager instructs the Contractor to stop work.
