This chapter sets out the Contractor's and Client's roles and responsibilities and how the Contractor should work with Others. It explains what the Contactor must do if it wishes to procure Subcontractors from its supply chain to carry out work and the consequences of failing to comply with the requirements of the contract in this respect. It identifies who is liable for and who owns the Contractor's design. It also explains the purpose of Key Dates and what happens if the Contractor fails to meet a Key Date.
