Business process efficiency plays a critical role in organizational success, yet the determinants influencing business process efficiency remain underexplored. This study aims to investigate the impact of organizational knowledge sharing and business intelligence capability on business process efficiency.
Data were collected from 313 professionals across various sectors of China. A hybrid approach combining structural equation modeling (SEM) and artificial neural network (ANN) techniques was employed to assess the relationships among the study variables.
The results reveal that organizational knowledge sharing and business intelligence capability significantly enhance business process efficiency, with decision-making effectiveness mediating the effects. Additionally, organizational culture moderates the relationship between decision-making effectiveness and business process efficiency. ANN analysis highlights decision-making effectiveness as the most influential predictor of business process efficiency.
This study contributes to the literature by investigating the complex interactions between knowledge management practices, decision-making, and process efficiency in the digital transformation era.
