Solo female travelers: a systematic literature review and future research agenda

Syadiyah Abdul Shukor is an Associate Professor at Faculty of Economics and Muamalat, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. She obtained her Degree in Marketing and Master of Business Administration from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia. She has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy from Cardiff University, UK. Her expertise is in consumer behavior, professional selling and product development. She has published more than 30 articles including journal papers, proceedings and chapters in books.

Uraiporn Kattiyapornpong (Ping), PhD, is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at School of Business, Faculty of Business and Law, University of Wollongong, NSW, Australia. Her research interests are in tourism marketing, sustainable tourism, community-based tourism, technology application in tourism, consumer behavior, services marketing, international marketing and work-integrated-learning. Her current research focusses on how marketing and tourism contribute to sustainability such as sustainable tourism, community-based tourism development, platforms-mediated tourism, tourism resilience, marketing multi-channels, services quality and corporate social marketing in banking and work-integrated-learning in both Australia and international contexts. She has published over 30 papers in international journals.
