The paper shows a method for 3D magnetic field calculation. The method was developed from previously published 2D method of current sheets. The method is based on magnetic homogenisation of the space. Only one permeability appears inside all magnetic problem space after the homogenisation and so the Biot‐Savart low can be applied. All calculations are made without any kind of potentials. The main advantages of the current sheet methods are: simple model building, direct magnetic field density calculation, no need to know boundary conditions and easy calculation of open boundary problems. The method has similar properties to the boundary element method and is suitable for problems with unknown boundary conditions.
