If you look up the term resilience on the world's favorite search engine and switch the search to images, it is interesting to see the kind of pictures that show up. Alongside inspirational definitions and “how to…” snippets of information are representations of people's strength, maintaining balance and nature's growth against the odds. The images themselves speak of proactivity and development, which is at odds with the definitions around recovery or adjustment due to misfortune.
