For businesses in 2020, the notion of resilience has never been more pertinent, nor quite as real. While many responsible organizations would have plans in place to ensure their operations were as sustainable and resilient as possible, very few would have had a Plan B than involved national lockdowns and some industries grinding to a halt overnight. The Coronavirus pandemic might have been foreseen by some epidemiologists and other scientists, but for the vast majority it came completely out of the blue and will have ramifications far into the future.
