Microtech, part of the Intelek Group, announce the purchase of a Klingenberg Micronic 76-6 drilling station from Microcad Service Industries (MSI), part of the MANIA Group (Plate 4). Bill Thompson, Microtech's Managing Director,comments, "The Klingenberg Micronic 76-6 machine has six separate spindles,providing greatly increased throughput through the drilling area. Larger panel sizes can be processed, allowing us the full benefit of our advanced plating line. Operator intervention is reduced through superior drill bit management. Boards are drilled to customer data, ensuring functionality. In summary,installation of this equipment represents a significant advance in productivity and customer service levels."
