Etec appoints Dr Jim Hickman to key advisory role in the interconnect products group

Etec Systems, Inc. has contracted with Dr Jim Hickman to provide strategic direction to the Interconnect Products Group as assistant general manager.

Dr Hickman has been associated with the chemical and electronics industries for over 30 years. He retired at the end of 1998 from Du Pont, where he held a variety of positions, including senior management roles. He has been active in the IPC Association, an industry trade organization, and was a recipient of the IPC President's Award. Mr Hickman holds a BS in chemistry from Tufts University and a PhD in physical organic chemistry from the University of Notre Dame.
