Pinto to continue on ITRI board

The Interconnection Technology Research Institute (ITRI) has announced that Dick Pinto, Chairman of the ITRI Board of Directors, will continue in his position as chair for another three-year term.

Pinto, who recently retired from Excellon, was a supplier representative on ITRI's board. Pinto will continue to serve on the ITRI board, as an IPC appointed representative. "Dick has always been a great asset to the ITRI board", said Jack Fisher, chief technical officer of ITRI. "His contributions and hard work will continue to benefit the industry."

Peter Sarmanian, who had served on the ITRI board as an IPC representative since its inception in 1995, resigned from the board earlier this month. Sarmanian was instrumental in conceiving the ITRI concept during his tenure as IPC Chairman of the Board.
