Andrews resigns as ITRI CEO

Interconnection Technology Research Institute has announced that CEO Marshall Andrews has resigned his position, effective 1 May 2001, to pursue other interests.
"Marshall has done a wonderful job, and we wish him well in his future endeavors", says Richard Pinto, ITRI's chairman of the board.
Andrews has served as ITRI's CEO since its inception in 1994. Under his leadership, the organization has grown to more than 60 member companies and is recognized internationally for technology development and implementation projects in the electronics interconnection field.
An ITRI nominating committee has been appointed to select Andrews' successor. The committee comprises William Beckenbaugh, Hadco Corporation; Robert Forcier,Nelco International Corporation; and Stan Xavier, Nortel Networks. ITRI's chief technical officer Jack Fisher will serve as CEO in the interim.
