Wind Hazard Mitigation Consortium developing

A group of universities are working together to develop a co-ordinated Wind Hazard Mitigation Consortium. Co-operating in this effort are Virginia Tech,Clemson, Florida International, Johns Hopkins, Louisiana State, North Carolina State, and Notre Dame universities, as well as the State University of New York at Buffalo and the University of Delaware. The Consortium has put together a comprehensive plan to develop knowledge and solutions concerning both technical and socio-economic aspects of wind hazards and is currently seeking support for this plan.
