Technotec comprises about 11,000 items, is distributed through computer cluster centres in Brussels, Maryland and Sydney, and can be accessed by telex, teleprinter or timesharing terminal with dial‐up facilities available in North America, Western Europe, Scandinavia and Australia. Searches can also be conducted on a customer's behalf. Describes 4 types of entry in the data base; method of input; searching strategy; TINA Technology Innovation Alert, available for 85 profile codes; and charges. Diagrams illustrate; examples of input; searching.
