Frontline Logistics Limited, a Nigerian logistics company established in 2020 by Taiwo Tijani Adebajo, was engaged in freight movement and container trucking. The company had been resilient in forming strategic partnerships to move forward despite a challenging environment rife with security threats, inadequate infrastructure and constraints on funds, growing steadily since it began operating in 2013. However, Frontline Logistics was competing against foreign firms that were preferentially treated, along with regulatory barriers and a lack of access to capital. The case examines the company’s strategic challenge: how to grow sustainably amid such challenges.
