The learning organization in health‐care services: theory and practice

Attempts to clarify the concept of the learning organization and examines the barriers to its application. Draws on a framework that encompasses the principles of the learning organization, based on literature in renowned academic journals. Explores learning mechanisms in the UK and Greek health organizations. Concludes that health organizations need to eliminate barriers to learning.
