A third edition of the leaflet first published jointly by the Committee of Vice‐Chancellors and Principals and the Trades Union Congress in Spring 1978 has been published. It was first produced to meet the need for basic information about university entrance procedures for those adults who have left school possibly without formal qualifications, and who are unaware that they could study for a full‐time undergraduate degree course later in life. This new edition incorporates suggestions and amendments made by admissions officers in universities, and also includes up‐to‐date information on awards, part‐time study and further reading.
