In the first article it was described how the problem of assessing secretarial training requirements was approached. The most interesting findings were presented: it was discovered that whereas in shorthand and typing secretaries generally attained a very high standard of work, in other tasks they were not quite as satisfactory. Some suggestions are now put forward as to how secretaries could be trained in some of the aspects of their work where quality could be improved.
