Azerbaijan and the new government in Armenia are showing definite signs of interest in reviving talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh dispute. The latest move was a January 22 meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Davos. The engagement process is still tentative and the gulf between how Armenia and Azerbaijan see Karabakh's future is unchanged.
The new reformist government has changed Armenia's international image for the better and given it more avenues for engagement.
