Prospects for Ukraine in 2020.
Significance
Ukraine will enter 2020 with a new political leadership which came to power promising different and better policies than its predecessor's, but only began setting out what these were when parliament convened in August. This sets the scene for policy changes in sensitive areas but does not greatly alter the main agenda items: conflict resolution, gas transit and domestic reform.
