Subject
Prospects for Middle Eastern oil economy to end-2022.
Significance
Oil revenues to the Middle Eastern Arab oil-exporting countries have surged in 2022, driven by record oil prices and increased export volumes. This has enabled flows of aid, investment, people, remittances and trade between the oil exporters -- Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) -- and importers Jordan and Lebanon.
