During the past year at Cumnock Academy, Ayrshire, MISLIP has progressed from being an experimental package introduced to the school via the library and has become a novel and useful part of the work of several teaching departments. As MISLIP has developed, the importance of the practical considerations involved in putting it into practice in a school has become more obvious. In this article I would like to outline a few of the practical aspects which must be considered before MISLIP becomes part of the curriculum.
