Ussama Yaqub is an Assistant Professor in the Suleman Dawood School of Business at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. As a Fulbright scholar, he obtained his PhD in management information systems from Rutgers Business School, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. His research focuses on social media data analyses, including sentiment and behavior analyses, data mining and studying the use of Twitter for campaigning during general elections. Ussama has published in international journals and conference proceedings such as Government Information Quarterly, Information Polity, ACM Digital Government Research and Practice and Global Knowledge, Memory, and Communication.

Tauqeer Saleem is a Research Associate in the Suleman Dawood School of Business at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. He has graduated in management sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences in 2021. His research interests include analyzing social media data using data mining, sentiment analysis and mathematical modeling. Tauqeer has published in Global Knowledge, Memory, and Communication.

Salma Zaman is an Assistant Professor at the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan. She has completed her PhD in international business from Rutgers Business School in Newark, New Jersey, under the supervision of Dr John Cantwell. Her previous degrees include an MBA and an undergraduate in computer science. Her most recent work titled “Connecting local and global technological knowledge sourcing” was published in Competitiveness Review journal. Salma’s research interests include exploring the changing patterns of technological knowledge flows across cities and the possible causes and implications of these changing patterns. She teaches a diversity of courses, including strategic business management, international business and data science.
