Tuhin Ahmad Shubha is a Junior Research Fellow at the Department of Library and Information Science, AMU, Aligarh. He cleared his NET/JRF, which was conducted by the National Testing Agency, Ministry of Education, in April 2023. He has submitted his Master’s Dissertation under the guidance of Professor Naushad Ali P.M. He has completed his MLibISc from the Department of Library and Information Science, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. The author’s interest encompasses machine learning, natural language processing, text mining, artificial intelligence and ICT. He has published some papers in journals and book chapters. He has also worked as a Librarian in a Degree College library for six months.

Dr Priya Vaidya is a Senior Program Leader in the “Centre of Excellence-Education” under the Aspirational Bharat Collaborative of the Piramal Foundation (technical partner of NITI Aayog). She has also been recognised as a MAXQDA Professional Trainer (Qualitative Data Analysis Software), the Microsoft Innovative Educator 2023–2024, a Microsoft Certified Educator for Technology Literacy for Educators – 21st Century Learning Design and also a “Student Member” of the Editorial Board of Information Matters. Her areas of interest are qualitative research, educational policies, service quality, ICT applications in education and research, bibliometrics and systematic reviews. Regarding her work experience, she is practising grounded research and gaining practical insights under an Aspirational District Collaborative Program of NITI Aayog. She also worked as a “Semi-Professional Assistant” and a “Library Intern” at Maulana Azad Library, AMU. She executed the Seminar Library Automation Project using LibSys 7.0 (ILMS) at the Department of Petroleum Studies, Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University. Apart from this, during her PhD research, she was voluntarily assigned to a teaching project to teach “Library and Information Services” to the MSc/MBA students of the F/o Agriculture Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She has more than 19 research publications and presented research papers at national and international conferences. She has been conferred with different awards, namely, Best SIG-IEP (ASIS&T) Logo Award in 2023, the Women Researcher Award in 2023, BEST Research Paper Award in 2022 during an International Conference in Chennai and the first position in the Best Student Paper Award in 2021, organised by KELPRO Bulletin.

Dr P.M. Naushad Ali is a Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, U.P., India. Dr Ali has over 25 years of teaching and research experience. His areas of interest include information management, knowledge management, E-publishing and applying innovative technologies in libraries. Being a promising researcher and voracious writer, Dr Ali has published six books and over 90 research papers in various national and international journals and conference proceedings. He also served as Chairman of the Department of Library and Information Science, AMU, from 2009 to 2012. He is the editor-in-chief of the journal Journal of Knowledge and Communication Management. Thirteen PhDs and two MPhil degrees have been awarded under his supervision and guidance. He also supervised more than 80 MLISc dissertations. He has presented about 40 research papers at national and international conferences and seminars. He also delivered many invited talks at national and international conferences and workshops. He has completed seven research projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology, the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), the Indian Council of Cultural Relations and the University Grants Commission. He was the Deputy coordinator of his brainchild project, “Knowledge Management in Libraries”, sanctioned by University Grants Commission (UGC) under the SAP (DRS-1) scheme. He received a travel grant to present a paper at the DGI-Online Conference held at Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 2006. He was also honoured with a Visiting Fellowship under the Indo-French Cultural exchange programme of the ICSSR, New Delhi, to visit France for one month to conduct short-term research on Knowledge Management in 2008. He also received the HERMES Fellowship to pursue a post-doctorate in France in 2009. His contribution to the organisation and imparting of knowledge is significant as he has designed and developed a Subject Information Gateway in Information and Technology (www.itsubjectgateway.info) and an E-learning portal in Library and Information Science (www.lislearning.in), which professionals from more than 130 countries have accessed. Professor Ali is also an active member of national and international professional bodies like the International Council of Knowledge Management, the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology, the American Society for Research, Indian Library Association (ILA), Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centres (IASLIC), Indian Association of the Teachers of Library and Information Science (IATLIS), etc. He is Vice President of the Indian Association of Teachers of Library and Information Science (2021–2023).
