Job flexibility and work‐life balance pay dividends for Nationwide: High satisfaction rate among employees

Substantial benefits to both the organization and its employees have resulted from job‐flexibility and work‐life balance initiatives at UK building society Nationwide. In the organization’s latest employee‐opinion survey, more than three‐quarters agreed with the statement: “I am satisfied that Nationwide provides me with the opportunities to balance working arrangements with my personal life.” This figure has risen in each of the last three years.
