The biggest computerization project in the life of England’s largest provider of housing, care and support services was achieved on time and to budget partly through the use of “space shuttle”‐style mobile‐learning vehicles that criss‐crossed the country from Cornwall to northern England to train 350 geographically dispersed managers.
