Draws on cognitive behavioural therapy to discuss how consultants can work with organizational leaders to improve organizational performance. Explains the insights that cognitive behavioural therapy offer into the ways that leaders analyse organizational problems and identify their solutions, highlighting how much this can be affected by cognitive distortions, polarized thinking and ill-founded assumptions and generalizations.
