Reviews the ways in which hard skills and soft skills are taught and embedded when the trainee returns to the workplace. Identifies why both hard skills and soft skills training are often less effective than expected and argues that both would benefit from adopting the techniques used in the other. Discusses how the techniques associated with soft-skills training could be used to improve the effectiveness of hard-skills training and vice-versa. ISSN: 1465-6523 Reference:41AY347
