Under the title Long‐Term Trends in Productivity Professor Revans, high priest of Action Learning, has issued the following statement through his publishers. We have given the piece a different title and reproduced it in full. It refers to a project for bringing the techniques of Action Learning to bear on a study of global economics and prosperity. Our own interest in the paper stems from our belief that the managerial interest should have more influence on the formation of national policy on how the economy is to be run and, in particular, on wealth creation.
