The Institute of Extra Mural Studies of the National University of Lesotho is a development oriented non‐formal education organisation providing courses in Community and Leadership Development, Business Studies, Labour Studies, Credit Union and Co‐operative Development, part‐time University Degree Programmes and Businessmen's Training. The article explores the aims, philosophy and structure of the institution.
