The Self‐assessment Route to Small Business Training

A new guide produced by the Manpower Services Commission — “Business Success Through People” — is reviewed. The need for “training” is discussed, and the likely reactions of the small businessman to the self‐assessment kit. It is judged a useful tool for the entrepreneur who has not as yet been able to systematise vague ideas into concrete proposals and thence into action.
