IN RECENT YEARS THE CENTRAL FILM LIBRARY HAS ADDED TO the impressive list of titles in its industrial film catalogue by acquiring for film distribution series which first appeared on television. Indeed it may have been such a move, added to the steady flow of enquiries for the loan of film versions of television programmes, that persuaded ‘Auntie’ belatedly to set up Television Enterprises and very recently to offer some of their teaching films for hire as well as sale.
