How should one decide on what is to be included in a course of instruction? Most courses contain redundant material to some extent or other. Decisions have to be made on the competing claims of different teaching points to be included. Experiments are being carried out at REMEs School of Electronic Engineering which should lead to a more systematic approach to course design.
