By now training in the 1971 Industrial Relations Act is in full swing. The number of courses, seminars, films, film strips and study groups is becoming quite formidable. And perhaps rightly because the Act seeks to bring about some fundamental changes, not really in the law, but in that much more nebulous sphere of human relations at work. However, one cannot overlook that some fairly wide ranging new concepts are introduced in the legal field and therefore the first training requirement is one of imparting information — of, in effect — injecting a series of new ideas into the minds of people in industry and in trade unions.
