Generic skills research & development

In our issue of September 1974 we featured a Canadian report entitled Generic Skills. This was a progress report on a continuing study. At that time mathematical and communication skills; and interpersonal skills had been investigated. In this second‐stage report the field is enlarged to cover reasoning skills as well. A later study will tackle manipulative skills.
