EU funds training of Tunisian journalists

The European Commission is providing 2,150,000 towards a three-year training programme for journalists in Tunisia.

The money, from the Meda programme of help to non-EU Mediterranean states,will be spent on seminars, a specialised library, and creation of a press club and online forum for the journalists.
