Honda Motor Europe is adopting a new learning platform that will initially cover 26,000 users in more than 20 European countries.
The cloud-based learning solution will be used by employees of Honda and its partner operations, covering Honda cars, motorcycles and power equipment. The development program will be run by Honda’s core team, based in Poyle, UK.
“We chose the Certpoint Systems software-as-a-service (SaaS) learning platform because it offers a cost-effective, comprehensive service,” said Neil Fletcher, head of European training and the Honda Institute. “In particular it enables us to support our complete knowledge and skill qualification needs across all our European operating companies.”
“Our relationship with Honda is long term,” commented Certpoint general manager Europe, Maria van Vlodrop. “The SaaS platform is a great way of ensuring that Honda can deliver and manage training most efficiently across its European extended enterprise, but Certpoint’s key role is to also work closely with Honda to make sure the learning delivers the desired business impact.”
