Airport flies high with learning management

The busiest airport in West Virginia, USA, has installed a new system to manage classroom training for its internal and external learners.

Yeager Airport, located in Charleston, provides training targeted at pilots and other workers with access to the airport operations area. The training is mainly instructor-led and classroom-based. With a view to delivering and managing these programs more efficiently, the airport has selected the Upside learning-management system in a three-year deal.

Complete with training scheduling, venue and vendor management and training-cost management, the learning-management system enables the airport to create, manage and deliver face-to-face instructor-led training programs.
