MCB University Press has outsourced the development and hosting of its electronic journals and database products, Emerald Intelligence + Full-text and Anbar Electronic Intelligence, to CatchWord.
MCB University Press, a leading international publisher of academic and professional titles in the field of management and engineering, publishes over 130 journals, all of which are available online via Emerald, and produces Anbar Electronic Intelligence, a series of A&I databases covering the areas of management, civil engineering and computing.
Details of the agreement with CatchWord include:
Redeveloping and enhancing the functionality of Anbar and Emerald.
Mounting all MCB journals and databases on CatchWord's mirrored server network.
Implementing linking between MCB's Anbar database and Emerald Full-text and vice versa.
Building the reference links and linking to other full-text and abstracting resources.
Providing a new full-text search engine for all MCB's products.
Hosting MCB journals on CatchWord Web site.
Processing MCB's SGML to deliver full-text in HTML and generating PDF files with reference links embedded.
Providing a seamless transition from the existing services.
