The Editorial Board decided it would be a good idea to select a few of the earlier articles published in ILDS and its predecessors, and to reprint them together with commissioned papers reviewing what has happened since. How much has the situation changed, and in what ways? Have forecasts made in the earlier papers been fulfilled?
