Md. Anwarul Islam is an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Science and Library Management, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his Ph.D. in 2016 from the School of Knowledge Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Anwar’s primary research areas are knowledge management, information-seeking behavior, information literacy and informetrics. His recent research also includes cloud computing and cognitive assistants in social life. He was a visiting fellow at the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 2016; Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2013; and the University of Antwerp, Belgium, in 2012. At the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T), Anwar is the Chair of the Special Interest Group (SIG) in Knowledge Management, Co-Chair-elect of SIG - International Information Issues and Past Chair of the South Asia Chapter. Naresh Kumar Agarwal is a Professor and Director Professor and Director of the Information Science & Technology Concentration at the School of Library & Information Science at Simmons University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Naresh’s research area is information behavior and knowledge management. His first book Exploring Context in Information Behavior: Seeker, situation, surroundings, and shared identities was published by Morgan & Claypool in 2018. His second book is coming out in 2021 as Engineering to Ikigai: 25 Journeys towards Purpose in South Asia and You know the glory, not the story: 25 Journeys towards Ikigai internationally. He has been a keynote/invited speaker at workshops and conferences in the United States, Japan, France, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and South Africa. Naresh has held various leadership positions at the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T). He was a member of its Board of Directors, Co-Chaired its Annual Meeting in 2017, initiated the South Asia Chapter and was awarded the ASIS&T James M. Cretsos Leadership Award in 2012. He the President-elect of ASIS&T. Prior to entering the doctoral program at NUS, Naresh worked for six years in technology roles in the voice-over-IP, bioInformatics and digital cinema industries. Among other things, Agarwal has been a debater and public speaker and likes to paint in watercolor and oil.
