Reed beats market expectations

And Elsevier wonders why it is so unpopular with librarians…Reuters says that Anglo-Dutch publisher Reed Elsevier has reported “forecast-beating”results. Profits grew by 11 per cent to £433m on revenues up by 4 per cent to £2.26bn in the six months to June. The results saw Reed’s share price climb 2 per cent today (5 August).
