Maintenance costs set to rise

BMI are predicting a 3.8 per cent rise in maintenance costs for the year commencing in the second quarter of 1999. This compares with a rise of 2.3 per cent in the preceding 12 months. Above inflation wage increases and steadying materials costs are behind the predicted inflation.
