Intended as an accompanying volume to a prior text on yield management by the editors, the aim here is to relate via case study illustrations, the realities of revenue management. Some 27 authors contribute 16 cases on the theme of revenue management and pricing. Collectively, the book provides a rich source of insight, though as might be expected with so many contributors, the readability and accessibility is variable. Each case does however present material for discussion, with suggested solutions compiled at the end of the book. This is a useful resource for those with a specific interest in revenue management and pricing and given the wide range of cases from different industry scenarios, there is something here for just about everyone.
