This second edition book, is nicely presented and easy to read and to follow, with useful illustrations throughout. It is written and edited by expert practitioners along with contributions from other prominent industry specialists. Presented in five parts (with two case studies at the end of the book), it covers development concepts (including feasibility and design), planning (development, project finance and legal aspects), construction (design team, building costs and construction management), operations (planning and services) and asset management, including product development and brand management. The book aims to bridge the gap between generic and applied texts on the subject of property and facilities management by providing a non‐technical guide for students and professionals. This is a most useful and informative book that delivers what it promises in an authoritative, non‐technical way.
