The Secretary of State for Social Services, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of his powers under Section 5 of the Industrial Injuries and Diseases (Old Cases) Act 1967 as amended by Section 6(2) of the National Insur‐ance Act 1969, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes, in consequence of the National Insurance Act 1969 and the Post Office Act 1969, the following Scheme:—
