Productivity?

One of the advantages of using a palmtop computer is that you can write documents during boring meetings as I am doing now without having to go away afterwards and "type up" illegible scrawl. Does this make me more productive? Possibly! I know the correct solution is to make the meetings themselves less boring and more productive but unfortunately this is largely outside of my control. I can and do control my personal productivity. Perhaps this is an abdication of(a part of) my organisational responsibility but the concept of heads and brick walls comes to mind.
