Armature, a world leader in providing integrated solutions to the retail industry, has announced that it has joined Lawson Software's Global Alliance Integrated Network (GAIN) as a Complementary Solution Provider. As the partnership progresses, Lawson Software's financial and human resources software will integrate with Armature's A Series product suite. This is an open client/server system covering the four principal operational areas in the retail supply chain: merchandising, distribution, replenishment and store operations. It is founded on the concept of a central data repository, known as the Library,which provides the single point of reference for all information in the retail supply chain. Lawson created the Global Alliance Integrated Network (GAIN), as a union of "best of class" business partners to benefit member organisations and their clients.
