Supply chain partnership and sustainable performance: does TQM mediate the relationship?

Dr Mohammad A.K. Alsmairat is currently an Assistant Professorof supply chain and logistics in Business Administration Department at American university in the Emirates/ Dubai, since 2022, and previously was working in Business Department at Luminus Technical university college, Jordan. He has published many articles in leading international journals in the areas of SCM, logistics sciences, operations management and its implementations, Jordan in particular, Arabic and regional countries, in general. Dr ALSmairat earned his PhD from Girne American University, Cyprus (2017); MBA from Mutah University in Jordan (2013); additionally, Dr ALSmairat has a double major (BSc) in the areas of Business Administration and Computer information system. Dr ALSmairat has long academic and professional experience in the areas of teaching as an instructor in supply chain and business. His current research interests include lean and agile supply chain, supply chain management, logistics sciences, supply chain responsiveness and operations management.

Noor Al-Ma’aitah is an Associate professor at Mutah University, Jordan, specializing in the cultural aspects of supply chain and quality management, particularly supply chain relationships in the Middle East region and its ramifications for quality performance. Her research interests include the relationship between culture and leadership effectiveness, and the implications of supplier-buyer relationships for quality performance. Noor has extensive work experience in shipping industry and worked as a procurement officer at Elreha Jordan Co. She has won runner up position in her PhD study time at Kent Business School in 2012, as well as the Harrington best PhD thesis award in 2015. Also, she is a certified supply chain expert (CSCE).

Tahani Al-hwameil is an MBA holder from Mutah University, Jordan. Her research interests include supply chain innovation, supplier-buyer relationships and quality performance.

Hamzah Elrehail serves as an Associate Professor of Management at University of Sharjah, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. His research spans into leadership, HRM, innovation management, knowledge management and strategy. He published several papers in ISI and Scopus indexed journals such as Computers in Human Behaviour, Telematics and Informatics, Journal of Workplace Learning, Journal of Information Technology, Journal of Innovation & Knowledge and Journal of Intellectual Capital.
